Mary Ann Hess started her legal career at a well-established firm that focused on highly complex family law cases. That early experience gave Mary Ann litigation skills involving complex issues related to all issues involving families. That experience also was eye-opening as it caused Mary Ann to pursue alternative resolutions for her clients. This included mediation for many years until the idea of collaborative divorce became the better way for families to resolve their issues and create their best possible settlement. Mary Ann has been trained in all manners of collaboration since early 2007 and has extensive experience in helping clients resolve their differences in a collaborative manner.
